Zoe completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2004. She went on to complete her Clinical Doctorate in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney and also the Master of Philosophy at the University of Sydney on the topics of growth and remodelling of the temporomandibular joint. Zoey has published research in the field of implantology and bone augmentation.

Zoe is the current president of the Australian Prosthodontic Society (NSW Branch). She is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the International College of Prosthodontics.
