Stephen Race completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Imaging) from Charles Sturt University in 1999. His Professional Development Year was completed at Westmead Hospital which involved rotations through the Dental Radiology Department. In 2004 Stephen moved to the UK, working as a Radiographer in major hospitals in Glasgow and London. He obtained a Master of Business Administration with Distinction in 2007 from the University of New England and subsequently worked in hospital management for three years.

Upon returning to Australia, Stephen established a private radiology practice in rural NSW and in 2016 joined Dental IMAGING, Macquarie St, Sydney as Principal Radiographer.
