Tarun attained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997 and worked as a General Dentist with a passion in Prosthodontics. This led him to seek masters course in Prosthodontics from University of Sydney, where he twice received the International Merit Scholarship Award. 

Tarun joined Dr. Scott Davis in 2010 as a Specialist Prosthodontist in his Port Macquarie, NSW clinic. He was offering services along the Mid North Coast of New South Wales and Northern NSW for more than 6 years. in 2016, he started his own specialist referral based Prosthodontic practice in Tugun, QLD and in Ballina NSW. He has a passion of sharing his knowledge and also enjoys the role of part time clinical tutor at Griffith University one day/week.

His special areas of interest are treatment of worn dentition and Implant prosthodontics. Achieving clinical outcomes based on best evidence in the most cost effective manner is of utmost importance to him. 

Tarun is a member of the Australian Dental Association, International team of Implantologist(ITI) and the Australian Prosthodontic Society. He is the secretary for the Australian Dental Association Far North Coast NSW division. Tarun routinely attends post graduate courses and seminars in all fields of Prosthodontics; as a commitment to further his ongoing training and education. He loves spending free time with his family, watching movies and playing badminton.
