Tuan is a registered dental specialist in the field of Prosthodontics in Australia. He completed the Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours and a Masters of Dental Science in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney. This cumulated in the receipt of the 2007 Young Prosthodontist Award from the International College of Prosthodontists. He has held multiple roles at the Executive level of the Australian Prosthodontics Society (NSW Branch) including both Secretary and President. He is also a founding member of the Multidisciplinary Grand Rounds Study Club in NSW. 

He has previously held a teaching position for 10 years at the University of Sydney, appointed as a Specialist Clinical Associate demonstrating prosthodontics to final year students. He was also a Prosthodontic Mentor for the Graduate Diploma in Oral Implants at the University of Sydney. 

Tuan has provided countless lectures both nationally and internationally for the University of Sydney, ADA NSW, MDGRS, USYD CE and dental industry partners. His passion for teaching is evident in the honest and upfront delivery of his lectures. He is also a contributor to the textbook "Oral Rehabilitation: A Case-Based Approach".
