COVID-19 face mask advice for consumers

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care has provided the following information for consumers on COVID-19 and the use of face masks. This covers when face mask use is recommended by health experts for COVID-19 protection, what the general community can do to prevent the spread of COVID-19, how to put on and take off a face mask and how to choose a face mask. The following advice is not specific to healthcare professionals, however may be useful general advice to you and your patients.
