As the situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) is both unprecedented and rapidly evolving, I want to share with you the steps we are taking to maintain services and communications with members, while protecting the health and safety of our staff.
Our number one priority is to ensure we continue to support members and provide a safe work environment for our staff, and we will continue to follow the advice of the Australian and NSW Governments.
CONTINUITY OF MEMBER SERVICES
Immediately after Coronavirus (COVID-19) was declared a global health emergency, we have been implementing our business continuity plan to ensure we can continue to support you. Systems are already in place to ensure our essential member services – communication, Advisory Services and HR Advisory Services – are able to continue. We will keep you fully updated should there be any further impacts to member services as a result of the situation.

Due to the Federal Government’s advice over the weekend and social distancing recommendations, we have made the decision to postpone all face-to-face CPD courses until 1 June 2020, effective immediately.
If you have registered for a course in this time, a separate email with more detail will be sent. Your registration fees will be held in credit in your CPD account to be used for the new date or for any other course of your choice run by ADA NSW CPD.

Communication
Our business continuity plan ensures communication with members can effectively continue. We will continue to send regular updates via email and on our website. We understand how valuable your time is and will only send out information when it is important. We will continue to develop resources for you and post information on our coronavirus page so please stay updated by visiting our website regularly – www.adansw.com.au. Ensuring members have access to our Advisory Services team is essential and we have a system in place to ensure you will have access to a peer advisor who can answer your questions. Staff at ADA NSW
Our employees are being kept fully updated and we are following the advice of the Australian Government and NSW Health. We are confident that we have taken the necessary steps to ensure continued operation. We have asked employees to stay at home if they feel unwell. We have also increased preventative measures such as additional cleaning, hand sanitisation facilities and limiting visitors to our office. Like other businesses, we have limited all travel and have introduced a 14-day “work from home” policy for any employee who has returned from a high-risk area or has been exposed to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
