ADA NSW President Dr Michael Jonas and councillors Dr Chris Wilson and Dr Camilo Rios will hit the bitumen on their motorcycles and raise valuable funds in the Bright Smiles Charity Ride (BSCR).
This year’s 2022 BSCR will take place from Thursday evening on 28 April to Tuesday evening on 3 May. The ride normally takes on a long weekend format and will raise thousands of dollars for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, organisers have set their sights on a slightly longer event this year.
After surveying supporters, organisers have created a route that will take in parts of the Snowy Mountains, the Victorian High Country, Victoria’s Westernport Bay, the Great Ocean Road and the Victorian Goldfields. The event includes an average of 425 kms riding per day through some of the most diverse and scenic roads in NSW and Victoria.
Riders will start with welcome drinks and dinner in Tumut NSW on Thursday evening on 28 April and the overnight stops will be Tumut, Bright, Hastings, Port Campbell, Mansfield and Tumut. Good luck to all riders!
