It is old and had a chequered history but has personality! Does it appeal? It may cost quite something to restore but then will be a piece of furniture for all to admire.
Clues from the stamp mark on one of the drawers indicate it was made by a company awarded a medal in an exhibition 1908 – or even given an award.
It has mirrors (2 square and 1 oval), glass knobs and pendant knobs. 4 bow shaped cupboards and many drawers, 17 in total. However, the woodworm has attacked it in parts. It has been stored for many years in a dry environment so not affected by damp but sometime, years ago, painted cream! The cabinet is made up of two matching parts.
To rescue and restore is of prime importance to me so the cost is lower than low! If you are interested to discuss please text or phone 0400 530 787 or email Audrey on:Â
