Medical emergencies in dentistry website

Medical Emergencies in Dentistry is the innovative new website launched by ADA NSW and the Dental Council of NSW to assist dentists and other dental professionals in managing medical emergencies.
The website contains 36 videos that cover all features of managing emergencies in a dental practice, including:
  • the systematic and careful monitoring of patients as the basis for a diagnosis
  • signs and symptoms of common emergencies
  • selecting appropriate equipment and medications.
Any interested party can access this resource by:
  1. Visiting www.adacpd.com.au and creating a new account or logging into an existing account.
  2. Scrolling to the bottom of the ‘personal account information’ page and clicking on the ‘Medical Emergencies in Dentistry’ link.
