Much of NSW is being severely impacted by devastating floods. Our thoughts are very much with our members and all those in the affected regions who are doing it tough.
If your practice has been affected by flooding, we’ve outlined some practical tips below that may be useful to you during this time.
Practical tips on disaster recovery
- For community advice on how to prepare and recover, visit the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) website.
- Redirect your office landline number to a mobile phone.
- Contact your insurance provider and bank to find out if you are eligible for financial support.
- Visit the NSW Government Financial Support page to check your eligibility for disaster recovery payments. This support is administered by the Australian Government.
- Relocate to another practice – dental colleagues in other non-impacted areas may be able to allocate a room in their practice for you to use.
