Dental Health Week is the Australian Dental Association’s major annual oral health campaign.
It takes place each year in the first full week of August, and aims to educate Australians about the importance of maintaining good oral health by promoting key messages.
The 2024 campaign focused on the importance of taking steps to care for your teeth and gums to help you keep your teeth and smile for life.

Other centres that had visits include WillowBee Childcare Centre in Willoughby and Queanbeyan Childcare Centre. They explained the difference between ‘sometimes’ and ‘anytime’ foods for maintaining strong teeth and overall wellbeing.
Dental Health Week pop up events, August 2024
We facilitated ADA NSW pop-up events in Tamworth, Dubbo, Shellharbour, Canberra, Coffs Harbour and at Bonnyrigg in Sydney, connecting ADA NSW with the community. Our educational stands were an opportunity for the community to meet local ADA NSW dentists and be given Colgate and Pikster merchandise.Â
