I have had a strong passion for all things dentistry since I was young and my passion has only developed further throughout my studies. I aim to enhance the oral health care of my patients, through prevention and intervention management to promote long-term improvements.

While studying, it has been a challenging and rewarding experience that requires dedication, passion and professionalism. Throughout my placements, I have advanced both theoretically and clinically at Westmead Centre for Oral Health, Sydney Dental Hospital, Nepean Centre for Oral Health, Fairfield Dental Hospital, and Northern NSW Local Health district for a rural placement.

My professional goals are to further develop my skills as an independent dental practitioner, continually enhancing the quality of my practice, ultimately improving care for patients. This entails effective and efficient appointments, patient centred care, proficient theoretical understanding of treatment to make informed clinical decisions and informed patient consent.

Originally from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, I have since relocated to the hustle and bustle of Wagga Wagga. I was first introduced to the world of dentistry as a dental assistant, so I know the importance of working within a fun, friendly, and supportive team. 

After my five years of dental school, I am interested and excited about all aspects of dentistry. I am particularly keen to sink my teeth into some more direct and indirect restorative treatment, endodontics and paediatric work. 

I am looking for positions in the Wagga Wagga area, however I would be willing to travel further afield for the right fit. Some excellent mentorship would be an absolute bonus! 

Outside of dentistry I love to Parkrun every Saturday, play soccer for my local team, and am always picking up a new renovation project. 

I am a final-year dentistry student at Charles Sturt University, set to graduate soon. My journey in dentistry has taken me to rural placements like Brewarrina, where I’ve gained valuable experience working with diverse patient populations. I’ve also had the privilege of volunteering in Nepal, providing dental care in resource-limited settings. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for adaptability, teamwork, and the importance of patient-centred care. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy staying active through swimming and basketball, and I find relaxation in playing the piano. These hobbies help me maintain a balanced lifestyle and stay focused on my personal and professional growth. I am excited to join a team-oriented workplace where I can continue to expand my knowledge of dentistry while contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment. My Year 4 teacher asked the class, "what do you want to be when you grow up?", and I wrote "a dentist", of course! Fourteen years later and I'm graduating from CSU, keen to begin my childhood dream job! I am passionate about oral health education and bringing the best of dentistry to rural and regional Australia. I enjoy all areas of the discipline and am keen to continue developing my skills wherever I can. In the next five years I hope to join an established practice where I can learn from experienced clinicians, be challenged by various clinical scenarios, and build a strong patient base, empowering my community to look after their oral health!

Hi there, my name is Jenny. People who know me well usually describe me as a compassionate, confident, and moral person with integrity. In dentistry, I am most passionate about providing health care in a patient-focused manner. My strengths lie in: being able to build rapport with people from all walks of life, clinical decision making, and communication. I am a fast and intuitive learner, and find that once I’ve grasped a concept or procedure, I can deliver high quality work in an efficient manner.

My name is Akansh, and I grew up in Sydney, graduating from North Sydney Boys High School. The clinical opportunities I had at CSU allowed me to see a wide range of patients across uni clinics and hospitals throughout NSW. Coupled with my travels in Southeast Asia, I’ve developed a keen recognition that oral health is interdependent with overall physical and mental health.

I am passionate about all aspects of dentistry. Through my experience at CSU, I’ve had the opportunity to explore fixed prosthodontics and perform more advanced exodontia in hospital settings. I’m eager to continue broadening my skills and growing as a clinician, always ready for new challenges. While I prefer to work in the Greater Sydney area, I am open to relocating.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy watching the Premier League, doing pub trivia, and hanging out with my border collie!

As a dedicated dental student graduating at the end of 2024, I am eager to bring my skills and passion for dentistry to a forward-thinking clinic. I am a final year student seeking full time/ part time dentist position. I have used my time in dental school and weekend assistant work to gain exposure to various branches of dentistry. Currently I am passionate about oral surgery and implant restorations, as opportunities are limited in a public hospital setting.

I am a passionate and driven dental graduate, set to obtain my APHRA registration in beginning of 2025. I have worked on achieving a strong foundation in restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, extractions and prosthodontics that I hope to advance further. I've gained valuable clinical experience in hospital and rural placements which I have worked on patients with dental phobias using nitrous oxide sedation. From pulling my first tooth out behind the school canteen to becoming a recent dental graduate, my journey in dentistry has been one of passion and growth. Hi, my name is Sameer and I am a Penrith local. I grew up in Western Sydney, attended local schools and played soccer for my local club throughout my childhood. After graduating high school, I studied medical science at Sydney University before attending Charles Sturt to study dentistry.

Dental school has been quite a journey! It has taught me the clinical skills required to be a solid, competent dental graduate. Perhaps just as importantly, it has taught me the importance of being a great communicator and to be genuine as well as relatable to others.

Personally, I have a warm & gentle composure and have a natural ability to make my patients feel comfortable and at ease. I genuinely enjoy the work I do and the patients I care for.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, keeping fit and practicing martial arts.
