Starting your career in dentistry has many steps and ADA NSW is pleased to make things easier for you.

Step 1: Registration

Ensure you’re registered with the Dental Board of Australia (DBA) here.

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) has developed a video to explain how to apply.

Step 2: Professional Indemnity Insurance

Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) is mandatory and must comply with the Standard set by the DBA. You will need to choose one insurer.

ADA NSW new graduate members receive complimentary PII with Guild Insurance – our preferred provider.

Step 3: Claim your free new grad membership and PII

We are pleased to offer graduating students a complimentary 6-month period of membership with ADA NSW to explore our vast range of benefits and service offerings. As part of the package, you are also eligible for complimentary PII with Guild Insurance.
